Project overview
In 2018, HuaSheng delivered shelters and shade structures for public works in Oman. The Sultanate of Oman appears in HuaSheng's client references. The project extends the company's Middle East and Asia work alongside Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Nepal. The Oman structures provide shade and shelter for public use in desert conditions.
The procurement challenge
Public-works buyers need durable shelters within controlled budgets. Suitable corrosion protection can reduce maintenance needs. Suppliers must document construction, inspection and local assembly requirements after sea transport. HuaSheng handled the Oman work from drawing review to container loading in its own plant.
Climate & environment requirements
Oman has hot desert areas and a long coastline. Structures face strong sunlight, high summer temperatures, wind-blown sand and dust. Coastal sites also face humid, salty air. These conditions create the following design requirements:

Materials & engineering approach
HuaSheng's outdoor material system uses galvanized steel, 304/201 stainless steel or aluminum frames. Other components include tempered glass and metal canopies. Powder coating or electrophoresis protects surfaces. Prefabricated units connect with bolts, and staff group parts by assembly sequence. Factory production and flat-packed shipping allow local assembly in Oman without site fabrication.
Manufacturing & quality process
HuaSheng's 120,000 m² plant has five workshops, 297 precision machines and more than 600 production staff. Eight production steps cover drawing review, incoming inspection, cutting and forming, welding, surface treatment, assembly, final inspection and shipping. Surface treatment includes pretreatment, electrophoresis, powder coating and baking. Final inspection covers appearance, structure and electrical systems. ISO 9001 and DMAIC control support incoming, first-part, production and final inspections. HuaSheng holds shelter design and structural utility patents.
Delivery & outcome
HuaSheng delivered the Oman structures in 2018 with protective packaging for sea transport. Container loading plans used the available space. Assembly drawings and remote guidance supported local installers. The project list records shelters and shade structures for desert conditions. It adds to overseas references developed since 2014 in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Nepal.
