Custom Bus Shelter Solution from Huasheng
The Nansha project shows a repeatable custom bus shelter solution for urban roads, public transit systems, cultural districts and city renewal projects. Huasheng can turn a design concept into integrated delivery across structure, light boxes, electrical reservation, transport and on-site installation.
01 | Project Origin
A bus shelter connected to everyday city life
In Nansha, a bus shelter is more than a roadside waiting facility. It shapes daily transit experience: more shade under the sun, less exposure on rainy days, and clearer, safer waiting at night.

Phase 1 installed sites as real-world reference

02 | Phase 1 Installed Reference
30 installed sites forming real road samples
Phase 1 has completed installation of multiple shelter types in real road environments, covering daily transit nodes such as Jiaomen Metro, the district government service center, Wanda Plaza, Jinzhou Metro and Nansha Central Hospital.
These installed shelters and site records form the real-world reference for the continued production of Phase 2.

03 | Design Target
The shelter already carried a city identity on paper
The Nansha shelter scheme was designed by the Architectural Design & Research Institute of SCUT, led by Academician He Jingtang's team. The 2.7-meter canopy, Y-shaped column head and hexagonal modular roof create a clear visual identity.
For Huasheng, the task is not to display renderings, but to translate design language into a delivery system that can be manufactured, transported and installed on site.
04 | Product Delivery Challenge
A beautiful shelter must first become a deliverable product
The light structure shown in renderings becomes concrete production questions: how to break down the structure, produce the components, reserve light-box and electrical systems, install on site and keep consistency across the batch. These decisions determine whether a shelter concept can move from rendering to real road deployment.
05 | Early Translation
Turning design language into a manufacturing plan
The first step at Huasheng is not cutting or welding, but confirming how the design can be delivered.
The design, engineering, production and project teams break down the canopy, Y-shaped column head, light-box body, electrical reservation and site conditions into a plan that can be produced, transported and installed.
06 | Production Preparation
The challenge is not one shelter, but 23 shelters
The Nansha shelter is not a standard model. Its wider canopy, Y-shaped column head and modular structure need to meet visual, structural, transport and on-site installation requirements at the same time.
For Phase 2, the scope covers two specifications and 23 shelters in total: 12m and 9m shelters. Huasheng needs to align structural logic, appearance quality and installation efficiency at the preparation stage.

07 | Factory Body Assembly
The main body is assembled first in the factory
Huasheng does not simply ship loose parts to the site for assembly from scratch.
At the factory stage, the column and light-box body are assembled first to form transportable body units, reducing uncertainty from scattered on-site assembly.

08 | On-site Canopy Hoisting
The canopy is completed on site for the final form
The canopy is the most recognizable part of the Nansha shelter, and it also depends strongly on site installation conditions.
The canopy modules are produced and checked in the factory. On site, the main body is positioned and fixed first, followed by canopy hoisting and installation.

09 | Phase 1 Installed Reference
Using Phase 1 scenes to show the Phase 2 production target
The following site photos are Phase 1 installed references, used to show how the shelters finally enter real urban roads.
The 23 shelters in Phase 2 are still in production and delivery progress. Huasheng needs to plan factory body assembly, site positioning and canopy hoisting in advance.

10 | Why This Type of Project Fits Huasheng
Huasheng delivers a shelter system, not just a single product
Nansha Phase 2 shows Huasheng's custom delivery method: from the production preparation stage, product structure, advertising light boxes, electrical reservation, transport limits, on-site hoisting and long-term use are considered together.
Solution development
Turn drawings into a manufacturable plan for quotation, sampling and production.
Factory assembly
Columns, light boxes and main structures become transportable units first.
On-site delivery
After body positioning, canopy hoisting, final closure and installation support are completed.
